Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Your privacy and the confidentiality of your health information matter deeply to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have under Swiss data-protection law (revised FADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

Who we are

ADHD Switzerland (“we”, “us”) is a psychology practice at Sumatrastrasse 25, 8006 Zürich, Switzerland, providing ADHD and autism (ASD) assessments. We are the controller responsible for your personal data.

For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected] or +41 766 070 996.

Information we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, an optional subject, and your message.

Booking form: your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, the programme and location you're interested in, your message, and your preferred language.

Assessment data: clinical information you provide during an assessment, treated as sensitive health data with the highest level of confidentiality.

Technical data: your IP address and basic request data used to keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse, plus usage data collected by the analytics tools described below.

How we use your information, and the legal basis

To respond to your enquiries and arrange appointments (to take steps at your request / perform a contract).

To carry out and document your assessment and prepare your report (your consent and the provision of care).

To keep the website secure, prevent spam and bots, and understand and improve how the site is used (our legitimate interests, and your consent for cookie-based analytics).

We never sell your personal data. We only share clinical information with third parties (such as a psychiatrist or your physician) with your explicit consent or where required by law.

Confidentiality of health data

As a clinical practice we are bound by professional confidentiality. Assessment data is stored securely and accessed only by the clinicians involved in your care.

Cookies and analytics

We use analytics only with your consent. On your first visit a banner lets you accept, reject, or choose categories — nothing in the optional categories loads until you allow it. Only storage strictly necessary for the site and the admin login is always active.

Analytics category: Plausible Analytics (self-hosted by us) and OpenPanel provide privacy-friendly, aggregated usage statistics, and Google Analytics (provided by Google, using cookies). These load only if you allow this category.

Session replay category: with your separate consent, OpenPanel may record an anonymised replay of your interactions on a page — with input fields masked — to help us diagnose usability issues. This is off unless you allow it, and we do not knowingly capture the content you type.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Bot protection

Our booking form and admin login use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from bots. It processes limited technical signals from your browser for this purpose and is designed to be privacy-preserving.

Service providers we share data with

Email delivery: Resend (to send you a confirmation and to notify our team of your enquiry).

Infrastructure: Cloudflare (Turnstile bot protection and image storage/CDN) and our hosting provider.

Analytics: our self-hosted Plausible instance, OpenPanel, and — only with your consent — Google Analytics.

These providers act as our processors or as independent controllers and may process data outside Switzerland or the EU under appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Data retention

We keep contact and booking submissions for as long as needed to handle your request and keep proper records, and assessment records for the periods required of a clinical practice. You can ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored on access-controlled systems, and only accessible to authorised people. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take appropriate measures to protect your information.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent (including for analytics) at any time.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

Children's data

Where an assessment concerns a child or adolescent, we collect and process their data with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision. For any question about this policy or how your data is handled, email [email protected] or call +41 766 070 996.

Looking for support with ADHD or autism?

We're here for you — appointments available in just 2–3 weeks*, not months.

All of our psychologists are fully qualified and accredited for their roles. However, not all of them can bill through Swiss basic health insurance, which affects waiting times:

  • Self-Pay Request — Current estimated waiting time: 2–3 weeks
  • Basic Insurance Request — Current estimated waiting time: 2–3 months

Please indicate your preference when submitting your request so we can match you with the right psychologist.

German-language assessments are available for our adults programme. Assessments for adolescents and children are conducted in English.
